I got to go Sailing Again! We were supposed to head to the COOK ISLANDS after the lovely Rangiroa and the Tuamotu Archipelago, but due to stormy weather there, with all unprotected tender ports, they made the decision to head us southwest, back to the protected port in Papeeta (Tahiti). We got lucky and Holly ( pictured below) found us a sailboat available for charter.
Any day on a sailboat / catamaran is my happy place. We had a good group today, a nice mix of fellow residents. Was nice to catch up with others and hear what has been keeping them busy. Great to be surrounded by people with the same shared passions!
The 6+ hour sail included snacks and a fabulous fresh tuna ( served 3 ways - ceviche, in coconut cream and sashimi) lunch. They had soft drinks and we brought our own adult beverages! We got under sail for about an hour and got to snorkel another hour. It drizzled and rained for a little bit, but nothing too bad. David Austin put together this fun video below, Cheers!

Friday nights at Eco Cove Resort are sunset excursion time. All the guest are taken over to tiny Yeben Rock Island. This time the tde ws coming in quickly and alot of the island was already covered by water but that didn't dampen our party! We had a cooler of beer this time too! We also have become feriendly with the 2 families that were there sharing with us.
