Next stop on the VIETNAM FUN TOUR is HOI'AN - The City of Laterns! I had arranged a private car to take us between all the major locations and towns for the 5 days we were touring the interior. He delivered us to Hoi'An in just about an hour from Ba Na Hills. Here we stayed 2 nights and had lots of relaxing time built in. Again the heat was oppressive! The driver recommended below tailor to me as I mentioned I might want to have a dress custom made as that is another thing the town is known for with 24 hour turn around.

Above is tailor shop, the design we agreed upon ( complete with pockets!) and washable, non-wrinkling soft silk fabric I chose. You'll have to wait till later to see the outcome! Got it for a special occasion.

Next was massages, the first day Bosco and I did a 2 hour one, together. I fell asleep, it was so nice! The second day, I had a facial and another mini massage. Heaven! And it was right in our Hotel with really good prices!

In Hoi'An there is a well known show, every night but Tuesday, called The Memories Show. It's done on an island, in the Thu Bon River and has over 500 performers and known for it's costumes and pagentry - fire lights & water. Of course we had to get VIP tickets! We went over at 6:30 for the pre-show and to grab some dinner, we found a Japanese place and got some quick bites!

Our VIP seats were assigned and came with a covered canopy in case it rained.  There were some fans in it blowing down on us and we had cushioned seats with backs, unlike the open seating benches in general admission. We also got a chilled wash cloth, bottle of water and fruit plate delivered once we sat down. So fancy!

BA NA HILLS - Part 3

I had dubbed this the Fun Tour of Vietnam! We could have gone to all the historic war memorials and museums, and I totally respect and am grateful to All those who gave so much. I just didn't want that, to be my only insight into Vietnam and it's lovely people. In the morning, we again explored more of the village and our room stay included a huge buffet breakfast. We checked out by 10:30 am and took the cable car back down by 11 am to meet our driver and head to our next stop.

BA NA HILLS - Part 2

Ba Na Hills was so special, I took so many photo's! Here's more from the Golden Bridge or Cau Vang. One of the perks of staying at the Resort is that the last cable rides down for day visitors is 6pm and the first cable rides don't start back up till 7 am. So hotel guest get to explore the park without tons of guest. We could have gotten up at 6am to see bridge at sunrise, but directionally it's off and I took so many pictures at sunset, I didn't see the need for more!
